Depardieu is a avid motorcyclist.  His penchant for the 'freedom' of the bike has gotten him in more than one accident including a serious one that resulted in a coma. 

Depardieu also has a passion for winemaking, so much so that his passport is marked as actor/winemaker.  He has his own label, and his chateau in the Loire valley (at Tigné-in-Anjou) is where he raises his grapes.  His winery ships 250,000 bottles a year.  His chateau is featured in the Hello!
