Trivia:
Christian Clavier, who will play Napolean in an upcoming Depardieu film and was Astérix to Depardieu's Obélix, plays Thénadier, a sleezy swinder.
John Malkovich appeared with Depardieu in The Man in the Iron Mask and is also working on the Napolean project (see News). Jeanne Moreau plays a nun in Les Misérables -- she was Balzac's mother in Balzac.
Josée Dayan and Dedier Decoin have collaborted with Depardieu on the other TV series Count of Monte Cristo and Balzac

Aired on Fox Family Channel in the US in January of 2001. No word yet on a VHS/DVD release in the US or UK. The DVD is available in France.
