8/1/01 DEPARDIEU VOICING "CHICKEN RUN" IN FRANCE The U.S. hit "Chicken Run" is going to France and the voices have been redone for the release. Depardieu plays the role of the suave chicken hero, Rocky. This is just TOO CUTE. You can hear some of the voice-overs along with the video by going to the French Premiere site. 8/1/01 "VIDOCQ" TRAILER AND SITE UNVEILED You have to see the new "Vidocq" trailer. It's amazing. The digital camera makes the film look spectacular -- it has a level of depth/clarity that reminds me of "Moulin Rouge". And the trailer has some nice shots of Depardieu in the role as well. Here's the trailer and the official site (in French). This film opens in France Sept 19th. No word on a U.S. release yet, but the trailer looks so promising we can hope it will be exported quickly.
